The touch and touchless sensor faucet have three appearances.

The temperature shown on the glass panel can be white light or blue light, depending on what the customer like. Customers can also choose the one without temperature display and touch sensor function.

How do the touch and touchless sensor faucet works?

The touch and touchless sensor faucet have two sensors working. The touch sensor has a touch button on the top, when touching it the waters start, touch again water stops.

The touchless sensor uses activated infrared sensor technology. When people put their hands near the faucet spout, the water starts automatically. When your hands leave, the water stops. Or waiting after the setting minutes, normally 60 seconds and the water stops.

It’s a multifunction faucet that also has a temperature handle to control the water temperature and show the temperature on the panel.

Makes your home bathroom smart, modern, and healthy

The configuration of the touch and touchless faucet is simple. It doesn’t have any control box because the sensor and solenoid valve are all integrated inside the faucet body. The battery case is hung outside and the battery can easily be replaced. The AC adapter is optional based on the customer’s choose AC or DC type power supply.

How to install touch and touchless sensor faucet KEG-11-B201AD?

It is easy to install touch and touchless sensor faucets, you can check and follow the manual, or check the details on our website.

  1. Take out the faucet and remove the rubber gasket, stainless steel gasket, and lock nut on the faucet. Take out the hot and cold water inlet pipes and install them on the faucet in turn (the hot-red braided tube in the front, and the cold-blue braided tube in the back position). Pass the cold and hot water inlet pipes of the faucet and the four-core waterproof cable through the basin hole; finally, sequentially lock the rubber gasket, stainless steel gasket and lock nut from the bottom of the basin to the faucet, and then lock the faucet tightly. (As shown in Figure A)
  2. Choose a space under the basin, drill two holes with a diameter of φ7mm and a depth of 30mm, then knock the expansion rubber particles into the holes, and lock the battery box bracket to the wall.
  3. Take out and install the two check valve joints on the water outlet on the cold and hot angle valves (as shown in Figure C-1 and C-2), and then connect the braided pipes to the check valve joints.
  4. Plug the AC power adapter into the wall AC socket, and connect the DC end to the DC connector of the control box (as shown in Figure C-5 and C-6);

Note: There should be no gap after the connection line is connected to prevent water from entering; please pay attention to the positive and negative directions marked on the battery box when inserting the battery;

People who are asking more:

A touchless faucet uses active infrared sensor technology that allows you to start the flow of water without touching the faucet. Instead, just place your hand in front of the sensor will start the water flow, and the water will stop when you take your hand away.
If you forget to close the no-touch faucet, no problem, the sensor IC and program will control the water to stop automatically after 3mins continuously flow, time can be set.
More excitingly, the design of most touchless faucets is stylish and elegant to fit all basins, sinks, or lavatory, from classic to modern.

Yes, the touchless faucet is quite reliable. The technology of the infrared sensor is stable and developed for many years. Every KEGE touchless faucets are tested by life testing, the valve on/off testing, infrared sensor distance testing, and salt spraying testing. Sensor lifespan:500,000 times on and off, valve lifespan:1,000,000 times opening.

In the future of modern smart homes, a touchless bathroom faucet is also one core part. They’re cool, for one thing, as their motion sensors always give you some sort of smart, modern techy feelings. Plus, a touch-free faucet keeps your fixture and bathroom clean, it’s a good hygienic choice and decreases the risk of contracting viruses and diseases.

Touchless faucets use infrared sensor technology that allows you to start the flow of water without touching the faucet. Instead, just placing your hand under the spout sensor, the sensor will give the solenoid valve a signal to open, then the water will start flow; When you take your hand away, the sensor will indicate the solenoid valve to close, then water flow will stop. For more details, please check here.

The touchless faucet needs electricity for sure. Both the sensor and solenoid valve works need electricity power. Normally three choices: DC 6V: 4xAA alkaline batteries; AC: using a transformer to transfer power from 220V/380V to 6V; Both DC/AC models existed, firstly use AC power to work, if AC no power then DC start to work.

6V with 4xAA alkaline batteries shall last approximately 3000 times/month for one year.

1. Battery issue: battery no power or battery installed in the wrong direction.
2. Sensor issue: the sensor got damaged, the surface was not clean, or the waterproof cable connection issue.
3. Solenoid valve issue: the filter in the valve is blocked or the valve is damaged.
