Touchless kitchen faucet solution

A touchless kitchen faucet uses active infrared sensor technology that allows you to start the flow of water without touching the faucet. Instead, just place your hand in front of the sensor will start the water flow, and the water will stop when you take your hand away.

Kege provides the whole solution to design your own touchless kitchen faucet. What you need is the electronic parts, like the infrared sensors, solenoid valve, power supply, and waterproof cables. Kege can offer you all these.

What solution for touchless kitchen faucet we offer?

Sensor shape solution

KEGE offers the touchless kitchen faucet sensor shapes solution. With your own kitchen faucet, we offer the sensor design to fit your current kitchen faucet and the position to place it. We have multiple existed sensor shapes, if you don’t want these shapes, don’t worry, tell or send us your design drawings, we can open new molds. Because the electric circuit is inside the sensor cover, so we also need to design new PCB circuit according to it.

Infrared Sensor Head Optional

Power supply solution

KEGE offers a touchless kitchen faucet power solution. KEGE offers touchless kitchen faucets either with DC batteries or an AC power adapter. For DC type normally it is with 4 AA Alkaline battery, the batteries can be changed once out of life. For AC type, it comes with a transformer which turns high voltage to low voltage.

solenoid valve solution

KEGE offers the automatic kitchen faucet solenoid valve solution. KEGE offers you the whole control box design with a solenoid valve inside, you can choose either a brass solenoid valve or a cheaper plastic solenoid valve, we also have a bi-stable solenoid valve for your choice. The life span can reach one million circles and last more than 15 years. The top coil is almost the same.

Surface colors solution

KEGE offers color options solutions. We have many surface colors option, such as black, polished stainless steel, chrome, gold, bronze, and oil rubbed bronze.

  • Touchless Motion sensor: Wave the sensor without touch, water flows, wave again, water stops. Water stops automatically after 3mins continuously flow.
  • Sensor STOPS working as long as manual handle activated.
  • Easily replace the batteries without tools.
  • Power detection. Close the solenoid valve automatically when power failure or low power.
  • Low power indication: This may indicate it is time to replace existing batteries with new ones or there is not enough power going to the unit.
  • Sensor distance adjustable by a remote controller.
  • Healthy and Safe: with touch-free faucet for kitchen, it can prevent the spread of bacteria and germs. It’s not only time-saving but also hygienic.

Active infrared sensor

Active infrared touchless sensors use the emission and reception of infrared beams to detect the presence and/or movement of objects or people in their field of detection. The technology is ideal for applications requiring a long and narrow detection range.

In the future modern smart homes, a touchless kitchen faucet is also one core part. They’re cool, for one thing, as their motion sensors always give you some sort of smart, modern techy feelings. Plus, a touch free faucet keeps your fixture and kitchen clean, it’s a good hygienic choice and decreases the risk of contracting viruses and diseases.

Touchless kitchen faucets use infrared sensor technology that allows you to start the flow of water without touching the faucet. Instead, just placing your hand under the spout sensor, the sensor will give the solenoid valve a signal to open, then the water will start flow; When you take your hand away, the sensor will indicate the solenoid valve to close, then water flow will stop.

The touchless faucet kitchen needs electricity for sure. Both the sensor and solenoid valve works need electricity power. Normally three choices: DC 6V: 4xAA alkaline batteries; AC: using a transformer to transfer power from 220V/380V to 6V; Both DC/AC models existed, firstly use AC power to work, if AC no power then DC start to work.

6V with 4xAA alkaline batteries shall last approximately 3000 times/month for one year.

1.Battery issue: battery no power or battery installed in the wrong direction.
2.Sensor issue: the waterproof cable issue or sensor got damage.
3.Solenoid valve issue: the filter in the valve blocked or the valve is damaged.
