Automatic toilet flusher uses infrared sensor technology that will flush automatically after leaving, the sensor detects and gives a pulse signal to the solenoid valve, when you leave, flush automatically. Program control all the process.

Auto toilet flushers need electricity for sure. Both the sensor and solenoid valve works need electricity power.
Normally three choices:
1.      DC: 4xAA alkaline 6V batteries;
2.      AC: use a transformer to transfer power from 220V/380V to 6V;
3.      DC/AC:Both DC/AC models existed, firstly use AC power to work, if AC no power then DC start to work.

6V with 4xAA alkaline batteries shall last average of 12 flushes a day.

There is a manual button on top of the cistern. If the automatic flush and remote control functions fail, you can active the manual button.
