Sensor Water Tap

Sensor taps, automatic taps, or touchless taps are always used to control water on and off. When you wave the sensor tap’s sensor without touching it, water flows; Then waves again, and water stops. Normally our sensors can active water on/off within 5 seconds, it’s really a fast action. We can also set and control the water flow time. If you want to wash a longer or shorter period of time, we can do it. This is just the infrared motion sensor technology.

Although you can see many sensor taps in the market. But the core technology to control water on and off is the motion sensor and solenoid valve. This is the main technology thing that KEGE is developing and focusing on.

Sensor water taps allow no touching of the faucet body, so it reduces the touching times and increases a healthy, hygienic water washing system. Using sensor water taps can also reduce the waste of water on our planet.

How do sensor taps work?

Sensor taps use active infrared sensor technology that allows you to start the flow of water without touching the faucet. Instead, just placing your hand in front of the sensor will start the water flow, and the water will stop when you take your hand away.

When the motion sensor or light sensor detects an object, it permits the solenoid which pulls the valve to begin the water flow. If it does not detect the same thing or anything in front of it, it orders the solenoid that will stop the water flow after a period of time (around 30 seconds) by pushing the valve.
